We're almost there! Thanks to geneous capital donors we are a few thousand dollars away from getting a modern and reliable bus!!!

We are seeking funds to purchase a new or used 30+ passenger school bus, activity bus or childcare vehicle.

High Need Projects

• High School SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM: $1.250. Your donation underwrites the cost of one high school student placed in an eight week summer jobs program that includes 20 hours/week of work, complimented with classroom training on careers, work ethics and behavior, job readiness and how to apply for and be successful at a job.
  
• Help our e-Literacy program: $250. Each donation provides an e-reader to our library to utilize in our special literacy program for underperforming readers. eReaders are used in a group, but allows our teacher to individualize for each student level. Stduents can browse the web, select books through the public library and increase their fluency, comprehension and interst.
• Sponsor a Mentor: underwrite the cost of providing one elementary school child a mentor to meet weekly throughout the school year for tutoring: $500/child/year
• Outbound Learning: Sponsor 15 students for one-on-one matching to a volunteer at a cooperating partner:  includes bus transportation, meals and supplies and staffing to escort 15 children weekly for offsite learningfor one school semester: $2,380.
